First State Orthopaedics is Delaware’s largest orthopaedic group practice. In 2018, First State Orthopaedics expanded its presence in Delaware by merging with Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware to create the state’s first Delaware-based orthopaedic supergroup. First State Orthopaedics is the only orthopaedic practice that offers convenient office locations in all three counties, throughout the State of Delaware.
First State Orthopaedics has more fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons then any other orthopaedic private practice in the state. We have highly trained physicians that offer specialized care in all facets of musculoskeletal care. Our doctors are routinely recognized by Delaware Today as Delaware’s “Top Docs” with many having the honor of receiving the highest votes in their field of medical specialty. We provide both surgical and nonsurgical treatment for all musculoskeletal conditions and are trained in current state of the art medical techniques. Our Specialties
Since the creation of First State Orthopaedics, we have built a multispecialty practice devoted to meeting the needs of our patients. The team of medical professionals at First State Orthopaedics is specially trained to treat a wide range of conditions and injuries that occur in adolescence, middle age, and later adult years. We treat patients with problems that range from broken bones to more specific conditions that require highly specialized procedures and treatment. To address specific problems, we provide patients with the latest diagnostic, surgical, and nonsurgical treatments available.
