Dr. John Spieker was a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Acupuncture (DABMA). He attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for medical school and the Helms Medical Institute, a division of UCLA, for his training in medical acupuncture. In 1990, Dr. Spieker founded Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware and served as president until 2014. Dr. Spieker practiced for over 30 years serving the Southern Delaware community and specialized in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, non-operative orthopedics, motor vehicle accidents, work injuries and medical acupuncture.
